Post-Op Video Store Sales & Privacy Policy

We strive to provide the best in sales and support in the industry. To maintain our high level of customer satisfaction, we are providing our sales terms, conditions and policies below. Additionally we are including our Privacy Policy below, which discusses what information we gather and how we use it to process your order.

Sales Policy

HOURS OF OPERATION
If you would like product and pricing information, our Post-Op Video sales team is available to assist you Monday through Friday, 9AM to 6PM PST. For order status information or other assistance with an order you have already placed with the Post-Op Video Store, please contact Post-Op Video Sales Support via our contact page or call 1-818-840-9100 during our normal business hours.

U.S. SALES ONLY
The Post-Op Video Store sells and ships products only within the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. No shipments can be made to APO or FPO addresses, United States territories, or addresses outside the United States. You may not export any products purchased at the Post-Op Video Store.

SALES TO END USERS ONLY
The Post-Op Video Store sells and ships products to end user customers only.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
ALL SALES FINAL. If you are not satisfied with your Post-Op Video purchase call 1-818-840-9100 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request within 5 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment (minus shipping and handling). The product must be returned to Post-Op Video within 5 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. Products that have been opened and can not be sold as new (packaging seals broken, static bags opened etc), will be accepted on a case by case basis and will be subject to a 15% restocking fee in addition to shipping and handling fees.

Please note that Post-Op Video does not permit the return of or offer refunds for the following products:

  1. A product that is custom configured to your specifications or is noted as a Custom Configuration
  2. Opened memory
  3. Opened software
  4. Opened static bag
  5. Any product that has a broken tamper seal

NOTE: Post-Op Video recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) either insure your package for safe return to Post-Op Video or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking and (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. Please note that the United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before the USPS will initiate a trace.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If you discover what you believe is a product defect for any product, please contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding the manufacturer's warranty.

Note: Products sold through this web site are serviced and supported exclusively by their manufacturers in accordance with terms and conditions packaged with the products.

ORDER CONFIRMATION OF PURCHASE
Post-Op Video will send you a confirmation of your order via email. You should receive the confirmation email within 30 minutes of placing your order. If you do not receive an email order confirmation, please contact us immediately as your order may not have been processed correctly. Post-Op Video is not responsible for any internet, electronic or other malfunctions.

CUSTOM-CONFIGURED PRODUCT
We are pleased to offer product that is custom-configured to your specifications, and we encourage you to review your order carefully. Since the product is built to your specifications, the order cannot be changed, modified, or canceled once your order is in production. All custom-configured product sales are final.

PAYMENT METHODS
Credit Card
You may pay by credit card no matter which ordering method you use (Internet or phone). At the time your order is placed, Post-Op Video obtains a pre-approval from the credit card company for the amount of the order. Credit card billing occurs when your order ships.

The Post-Op Video Store accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards.

PLEASE NOTE:
- We are unable to accept credit cards issued by banks outside of the United States.
- We are unable to accept Debit cards.

For information about alternate payment options please review the cashier's check, wire transfer, loan, and lease options listed in the following sections.

Credit Card Security Codes
The Post-Op Video Store may require the credit card security code for your card for any telephone or online purchase. The credit card security code is an individual three- or four-digit number specific to your credit card that may be printed on the face of your card above the embossed account number (if American Express), or on the back of your card, on the signature panel (if Visa, MasterCard or Discover). Asking for and confirming your credit card's security code helps validate that you - and only you - are in the possession of your credit card and protects you from unauthorized use of your account.

Cashier's Check or Money Order
The Post-Op Video Store accepts cashier's checks and money orders as valid forms of payment. Personal or business checks are not accepted. If you wish to pay by cashier's check or money order, you may order by phone at 1-818-840-9100. The cashier's check or money order must be payable to Post-Op Video Computer, Inc., and include your web order number and/or a copy of your order. Please mail your payment to:

Post-Op Video must receive your payment within 10 calendar days or your order will be canceled. Please allow 5 business days for order processing after Post-Op Video receives your payment.

Wire Transfer
The Post-Op Video Store accepts bank wire transfers as a valid form of payment. If you would like to use a wire transfer to pay for your order, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact the Post-Op Video Store at 1-818-840-9100 and place an order by phone.
  2. Obtain the final dollar total of your order including tax and any applicable shipping charges from the Post-Op Video Store representative. The representative will either fax or email you a quote with the total dollar amount.
  3. Your Post-Op Video Store representative will email or fax you the Post-Op Video wire transfer information.
  4. Please notify your Post-Op Video Store representative as soon as the wire transfer has been made.

Processing time varies among banking institutions and can be delayed. Please allow 1 business day for the processing of your wire transfer.

SALES TAX
Post-Op Video Store purchases will include sales tax for shipments within the state of California and are based on Los Angeles County tax, currently 8.25%.

TAX-EXEMPT ORDERS
If your order is being placed on behalf of a tax-exempt organization or individual, please call Post-Op Video Store Sales Support at 1-818-840-9100. Be prepared to provide proof of state tax-exempt status for the state where the product is being shipped. The organization or individual name on the order must exactly match the state tax-exempt certificate. Federal tax exemption certificates are not accepted.

SHIPPING OPTIONS
Post-Op Video offers three convenient shipping options.

Overnight Delivery: (IMPORTANT - see Shipping Details below for estimation of delivery) For an additional charge, we offer this expedited shipping option.  Products shipped prior to 2:00 p.m. PST, via overnight service are normally delivered by 3:00 p.m. local time one business day after shipment. Overnight delivery is not available for orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

Two-Day Delivery:  (IMPORTANT - see Shipping Details below for estimation of delivery) For an additional charge, we offer this expedited shipping option.  Products shipped prior to carrier cutoff, via two-day service are normally delivered by 4:30 p.m. local time two business days after shipment.

Ground Shipping:  (IMPORTANT - see Shipping Details below for estimation of delivery) For an additional charge, we offer a ground shipping option.  Products shipped via ground service are normally delivered two to five business days after shipment.  Our ground carriers deliver most of their packages Monday through Friday.

Shipping Details
The estimated shipment date on your order is based on product availability, payment processing time, and warehouse processing time and does not include transit time.  Payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need and full payment (or a full authorization, in the case of credit card).

Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will not begin payment processing until the next business day.

Same Day Shipping: Orders for In-stock items eligible for same day shipping must be received before your local time of 2pm, pending payment processing. Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will not begin payment processing until the next business day. Unanticipated changes in supply can affect product availability.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Reserve holidays.

Note: Title and risk of loss to all products will pass to you on delivery.

PRICES
The Post-Op Video Store endeavors to offer you competitive prices on new products and selected refurbished and clearance products. Your total order price will include the price of the product (on the day of shipping) plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges.  Post-Op Video reserves the right to change prices for products displayed at the Post-Op Video Store at any time.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Order lead time is the length of time it will take us to validate your credit card, assemble the right products and package your order.  Shipping time is the length of time it will take for the package to travel from our warehouse or our supplier warehouse to your shipping address. Post-Op Video makes every effort to ship your product as quickly as possible.

Given the popularity of some products, Post-Op Video may restrict the number of such items that you may purchase.  Any product limit restrictions will be posted on the Post-Op Video Store web site.  This information is subject to change.

Post-Op Video endeavors to stay at the forefront of technological advancement. For this reason, Post-Op Video reserves the right to discontinue products without notice.

PRODUCT WARRANTY
All products are sold "AS IS" by the Post-Op Video Store, but may be accompanied by their manufacturers' standard warranties. "AS IS" products are sold by Post-Op Video as is, where is, and with all faults, and without express or implied warranties from Post-Op Video. If you have questions about any manufacturers' warranties that accompany such products, please the manufacturer directly.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Post-Op Video is not responsible for typographic errors.
  • Post-Op Video reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of sale at the Post-Op Video Store at any time.
  • All sales at the Post-Op Video Store are governed by California law, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.
  • No Post-Op Video employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the Post-Op Video Store's policies or the terms and conditions governing any sale.
  • Items may be shipped separately and/or may be shipped directly from Post-Op Video's suppliers.
  • All merchandise remains the property of Post-Op Video, Inc. until paid in full.
  • Post-Op Video reserves the right to make equipment substitutions, should a product be discontinued or not available in a timely manner. Substitutions will offer similar functionality and be of equal or lesser value. If substitution is necessary and the cost of the substitution is greater that the original equipment quoted, client agrees to pay the increase in cost.
  • In purchasing from Post-Op Video, Inc. you irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of California and the federal courts situated in the State of California in connection with any action arising under or in connection with your purchase.
